Partnering and teaming with other design and construction industry firms is an integral part of design-build. DBIA provides conferences, forums, journals and workshops for individuals to “network” and share experiences and approaches to design-build and integrated services with colleagues and owners. Industry partner membership also includes the ability for member firms to sponsor owners for membership. The first sponsorship is provided at not charge. This gives firms the ability to pass on the benefits of DBIA membership to their owner clients, reinforcing their commitment to integrated project delivery.

Journal and Publications
DBIA publishes the Design-Build DATELINE, a journal that keeps you informed and up-to-date on current issues, the latest industry advances, and member and association news. Dateline also serves as a critical “How To” guide for technical information. DBIA members have the opportunity to write articles that affect the industry and teach others how to provide the highest level of quality design-build delivery and integrated services. Members also receive preferred access to design-build information through the many books provided by the DBIA bookstore and the Manual of Practice.
Committee Involvement and Awards
Hone your leadership skills. DBIA members actively participate annually in a wide range of committee activities such as: planning conferences; recognizing outstanding member and chapter contributions; developing special reports and publications; and commenting on legislation.
Each year, DBIA presents awards to design-build professionals who exemplify and promote excellence in integrated project delivery. We also strive to recognize firms who have produced top-notch projects through the Design-Build awards competition. Candidates are considered for the awards based on the successful application of design-build principles.
