The Foundation for Integrated Services (previously the Design-Build Education and Research Foundation) was founded in March 1999 to engage in charitable educational and scientific activities such as funding research to stimulate the development of new knowledge, information, programs, and products to help address future trends in integrated design and construction processes and their impact. The Foundation's mission is to enhance and advance the efficient use of integrated project delivery in the built environment through the support and dissemination of global research.
The primary event supporting the Foundation for Integrated Services is Minds and MasterWorks - A Celebration of People and Projects in Design-Build. This annual event takes place during DBIA's Annual Conference and includes presentation of the National Design-Build Project Awards and Designation Class.
